Sashimi noodle (Hoi Noodle) serves fresh and elastic noodles as well as solid texture sashimi with noodles by mixing them in a spicy sauce which is one of the most popular menu items at Dong-bok-ri Haenyeo-Chon restaurant. It looks similar to other noodles at first glance, but in a large bowl generous amount of sashimi and bold noodles are provided. Though the amount is substantial, it is quite reasonably priced which is the secret to its popularity. As the restaurant is operated by Dong-bok-ri’s Haenyeo (women divers) union, the sashimi is always very fresh and the type of seafood and fish used varies depending on the season. Another popular menu item is uni-noodle where plenty of uni can be enjoyed with noodles.
